Timber Mock Sash Window

What are timber Mock Sash Windows?

The Patchett Joinery timber Mock Sash Window has the look of a sliding sash window with the functionality of a Casement Window and comes in standard and egress options.

Mock Sash Windows are a great alternative to Sliding Sash Windows to suit tighter budgets whilst complying with safety regulations. They also look more flush to the frame than Sliding Sash Windows creating a sleek and streamlined look. Our timber Mock Sash Windows are storm-proof with a head drip feature.

How do timber Mock Sash Windows work?

Mock Sash Windows open as a Hinged Casement Window, but with a horn detail to replicate the look of a Sash Window. The egress version has a bottom panel that opens to provide a means of escape and comply with safety regulations.

Why choose Patchett Joinery Mock Sash Windows?

All of our windows and doors are handmade at our West Yorkshire-based workshop utilising more than 180 years of experience and installed by our skilled team of joiners.

Timber Mock Sash Windows are a great option if:

-You want the look of sliding sash windows on a tighter budget.
-Need an egress window that complies with safety regulations and matches non-egress windows.
-Want extra secure windows with a multi-point locking system and security claw option.

Paint Process

Timber windows and doors manufactured by Patchett JoineryTimber windows and doors manufactured by Patchett JoineryUsing only a water-based painting system which allows timber to “breathe” and adapt to climatic changes, our finishes provide maximum protection against weathering, fungal attack and UV degradation. The water-based application significantly reduces harmful emissions and disposal issues associated with solvent based systems.

Working with our paint partner, Symphony Coatings by Sikkens, we can finish in any RAL colour, stain, or match against all well known paint ranges and brands. With the ability to have different internal and external finishes, your windows and doors can be finished just as you require.

Our factory is audited quarterly to ensure that the finished product has the highest quality paint finish and performance you would expect.
